The Songs and Records Behind the Designs

Plenty of our designs carry the names of our own songs and records. If you know us, you'll spot them right away. If you're new, here's where each one comes from.

Please Die! and The Ice Age Is Coming

Both songs come from our first two 7" records, which were collected on Year One in 2001. They're tiny songs: The Ice Age Is Coming lasts well under a minute. Our Please Die design puts the title in a big scrawl on the back, and The Ice Age Is Coming pairs the handwritten title with a strange ink sketch of a figure under a crescent moon.

Background Music

Background Music (2001) was our first full album. Our Background Music design keeps it simple: a faded photo collage with the band name and the album title in plain lowercase type.

The Sun Isn't Getting Any Brighter

This is the name of our 2001 EP. Our design sets the line under a swirling, splattered American Nightmare script logo.

Boston, always

We're a Boston band, and some designs wear that proudly. Boston Broken Hearts Club carries a small letterhead line on the front and a big seal in the style of the Boston city seal on the back.

And the logo

The Varsity designs put our name in arched college letters: red, white outline or double outline. They're the easiest pieces to wear every day.

Every design comes on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too.
